We teach Modern Standard Arabic العربية القياسية الحديثة which is widely used in all Arab-speaking countries. There is a balance in place to ensure students are taught all the different skills (Reading القراءة , Writing الكتابة والتعبير , Listening الاستماع , and Speaking التحدث والاستماع ), i.e. the understanding and the generation of a language. We are keen to apply the modern learning and teaching styles into place. It is our goal to link our teaching to real life and social events. Religious texts are optional and those who are interested can pursue this further to reach the GCSE qualification in Islam. We try as much as possible to reduce the process of memorization الحفظ والاستظهار and to substitute this with deep understanding and criticism.

We found the distinction between Arabic as a First Language العربية كلغة أولى and Arabic as a Second Language العربية كلغة ثانية    very useful. Although the focus of our teaching is in Arabic as a Second Language, we give considerable attention to those developing their first language. This means we have three different routes (and hence different teaching materials for the three groups): First Language (Junior and Senior), Second Language (Junior and Senior), and Adult Learning. In addition to the Modern Standard Arabic, which is taught for all three groups, we offer customised course for Classical الفصحى and Quranic Arabic اللغة العربية من القرآن
